Friday Arrived in Dublin and traveled on to Bru Na Boinne and Newgrange. Saw some ruins that were 500 years older than the Pyramids. Had Guinness stew for lunch. Delicious. Drove on to the Annahilt lodge which was a fantastic bed and breakfast. Had a burger with fried onions and bacon for dinner.
Saturday Kyrell had Crossfit certification so, I went to the Giant's Causeway. Absolutely gorgeous and highly recommended. I had an Irish breakfast, appetizer's for lunch and Chinese for dinner.
Sunday More Crossfit certification for Kyrell. I went to the Lough Neagh lakeside and took a boat tour. There were also some hiding spots that you could do some birdwatching from but they were filled with spiders. I had a cajun chicken panini which was okay while watching a soap opera. For dinner, we went in to Belfast and had a mixed appetizer platter that wasn't very good.
Monday We headed out to the Cliffs of Moher on the Atlantic coast. We had lunch at the Stonecutter's Kitchen right before you get to the cliffs. I had a panini with ham, cheese and chutney which was delicious. We drove on to the outside of Cork, where we stayed at the Bunratty Castle Hotel. Too pricey and not worth it but we were tired. Had pub food again at the Creamery Bar.
Tuesday We spent the day touring Blarney Castle and the surrounding castle grounds. I did end up kissing the Blarney Stone but I don't believe I am any more eloquent than I used to be. The dungeon was small and cramped. I can only imagine how much it would have sucked to be locked up in there. It was essentially a cave. There were also some cool rock/tree formations called the Witch's Kitchen and the Druid's Home. From Blarney, we drove on back to Dublin and stayed at the Abbey Court Hostel. That night, I had roast beef for dinner.
Wednesday We spent the day in Dublin. Our first trip was to the Guinness Storehouse. I had some Guinness ( pre-fermintation). The place is shaped like a Guinness glass. On the roof is a cool bar with a 360 degree view of Dublin.
From there, we went to lunch at the Brazen Head pub which was founded in 1198. It's the oldest pub in Ireland. I was Irish stew which was really good but not as good as Guiness stew. After lunch, we traveled to the Jameson Distillery. We didn't take the tour but Kyrell got to take shots of some of the nicer whiskey's Jameson had to offer. Kyrell got a tattoo afterwards. I, however, forewent the inking. Later, I ate some really good fish and chips at the Quays restaurant.
The top of the tower at the Stuttgart main train station.
View from the window of our hostel room at the Zic Zac Rock.
Some cheese fondue. It was loaded with wine so I only had a couple bites.
View from the front of the Zurich Opera House.
Leticia getting eaten by a dragon in a toy store (it's really a slide).
Matt and Leticia walking on water.
Some gummy goodies.
Some street art off of Hauptbahnstrasse.
Rhine Falls from far out.

Zurich was really nice but super expensive. The Swiss Franc is almost equivalent to the dollar but expect to pay 2-2.5 times more for things you would in the states. That was a single serving of $35 fondue. Once we got out of Zurich, prices fell to about 1.5 to 2 times normal. I think the highlight of the trip was walking around the Rhine Falls. I enjoyed that much more.
